Road trip!!!!!! Ok, so we are really in a mini-van and not chinqua chente. There are 6 of us so the mini van was our only option. Rome was different than expected. It is green and hilly, and the city is nestled in between all of it. After arriving on the plane from the beaches near Venice, we were freezing!! Rome was about 10-20 degrees cooler. We went straight to the hotel to drop off our bags and change. Then we hit up a locals mostly trattoria for what I thought was incredible pasta and pizza. Although Adam did mention that if we keep waiting to eat until we feel like we are starving...
