Hola a todos! I just wanted to write to all of you to let you know I have arrived safely. Yesterday I arrived in Guatemala City. We met up with Sharons friend Jamie and traveled to the city center. After a good bit of crazy travel on the bus system we found our hostel. It was a nice hostel with a garden and many travellers. Today we made it a priority to leave Guatemala City. After an amazing \'chicken bus\' trip through the mountains we have arrived in Panajachel on Lago de Atitlan. It is beautiful here. There are many volcanos and a large crater lake. The people of this country are beautiful and warm. I look forward to my time here serving in any way possible. I travel to San Pedro La Laguna tomorrow to begin my spanish school. I am hoping to get involved with some coffee bean farm volunteering. I am going to walk to the lake now and catch the sunset. I will keep you updated to my adventures.
