The beautiful morning turned into a sunny day, although the promised force 3 to 4 wind didn't arrive and it didn't go to the south until mid- morning. Still we made good progress with a combination of engine and sail (sometimes both of them - a rare event on this adventure). The silence was nice when skip turned off the engines after 12 hours. Altogether now....:Oh what a beautiful morning. Locked out at 04.30, and can report sunrose at 04.48. Seems to be a problem with the delivery of our promised Easterly, have looked under the mat, and a westerly jumped out. Gale forecast for later tomoz, and the weekend looks rather blustery, so all we can do is keep plodding on.

A very pleasant chug. Chilly, but sunny. Arrived at 20.30 and went straight for our 4 week anniversary pizza! Don't like the look of the weather coming our way in a day or so, so alarms set for 03.45, to keep on plodding on.....

The day started with JJ walking Ali to her coach, whilst Rog took White Satin to get some fuel. Tides all wrong, but want to make some progress, so plugged into a strong tide to Dungeness. You can guess where the forecasted "variable" winds are coming from at the mo! Eta Eastbourme 19.30, BUT just accosted by a Range patrol boat, and told to clear off 3 miles further out to sea. Hey ho
