Today we visited Capalino suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain. Had to go up in one of those sky trams/gondolas again. Don't really like them. Once up there we saw Grizzly bears and watched a lumberjack show. It was really good but a long day as well as there being so many people at these places. It was quite hot today as well. We all got a little touched by the sun.

Well here we r back on land. Feel like we are back to civilisation. The cruise was good but it is good to be back. We r booked back into the Sheraton but in a much better room than before. Off on a tour tomorrow. Very tired today glad not to be doing too much.

Cruise Ship Day 1, British Columbia

Well what a huge day. Arrived at cruise ship terminal in Vancouver at 10.00am. Finally boarded at 11.00am-long process first through US customs then being boarded. Cruise is full with about 2000 people on board. Finally set sail at 5.00pm. It was beautiful sailing out of the harbour at that time. It doesn't get dark till about 9.00pm.

Today we took a tour of Vancouver Island - it took about 13.5hrs but it was a lovely day. The tour took us on the ferry over to the island. We went to the Burchart Gardens then had a look around Victoria.

Today we took the hop on hop off trolley tour of Vancouver. Had a great day seeing all the sights. The Stanley Rodgers Park is huge with massive red cedar trees. The one in the photo is the hollow tree. The harbour has so many ships in it.
