Heading Back To Vancouver, Alaska

Well this is the last day cruising, we dock tomorrow morning early in Vancouver . We had a lazy day packing and resting. At dinner we saw a pod of killer whales.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Today we docked in Ketchikan and had the day in port. We went shopping then we visited a Native village that had heaps of totem poles. It was very interesting. We are cruising back towards Vancouver and will cruise straight through tomorrow. Sort of glad the cruise is nearly over been great but sort of over being on the ship.

Glacier Bay, Alaska

On ship today cruising Glacier Bay. Woke up this morning and there was an otter outside the window. The glaciers are incredible. Saw whale tails, seals and porpoises.

Skagway, Alaska

Second port stop today - Skagway. Terrible name but lovely place. Really old town. Went on the White Pass summit train ride. Great views having lovely weather, very lucky. Lots of salmon in rivers,waterways.

Juneau, Alaska

Stopped at first port today- Juneau. Tourists everywhere, there were 5 cruise ships in port. We shopped around for a bit then went on a tour of the Mendenhall glacier which was great. We then went up a tramway over 2000feet high. Looked at the floor a lot.
