At last we are finally ready to set off on our travels and are due to fly to Rio tomorrow (28 October 2007) evening. Unaviodable delays for numerous knock out jags, changing direction of our trip (Hannah realised she could sun bathe for 12 consecutive months going the other way!) and waiting to confirm our places on the Inca Trail have set the time table back slightly.

Tuesday (30 October 2007) sees us commence a 45 day adventure across South America starting in Rio and finishing in Lima. The itinerary looks fantastic and we hope to update our blog throughout the trip and indeed the rest of the year.
