Oh my word, it really does look like this no word of a lie and the weather is superb. Arrived yesterday, did Port Douglas and fell asleep on Four Mile Beach. Idyllic. Totally. Been to Kuranda today up via the scenic railway and down by spectacular skyrail (cable car). Amazing views and surfed on the tops of the rainforests (cable car). Off to find a steak for John now then first thing tomorrow off on our 3 day drive to Brisbane. Cuddled a koala today too, tickled kangaroos, thrown boomerangs (I am better at this than John amazingly) and met lots of other animals.....if you ever get the chance to come over this way - it's a must.
