Well, it has come to the end of the holidays. After a dodgy start, we have finished on a high. The beach yesterday was lovely and we swam next to flying fish that lept out of the water around us.

In the evening we found a very cheap restaurant in the back streets of Nafplion with some lovely food and a home made white wine.

We had to get up early to drive two hours to the airport back in Athens but we found it no problem. It was a good job we got there early as we were put on an earlier flight to Rome. A shame really as I wanted to have a look at the shops in Athens airport, but c'est la vie I guess.

It means now that we have longer in Rome airport, where we have been loads of times. at least I can get a bottle of Aperol!

From here we get the connecting flight to Barcelona and then the train from Barcelona to Valencia...in first class this time thank goodness! We hope to get home about midnight and when we do I will upload some of the photos from the holiday for you to see.
