Kids couldn’t believe the size of the roos on lawn at farm they had to take photos before we left.
That didn’t happen till midday- but still 3 hours better than our efforts on day 1 albeit with rather a large drive ahead!
Turned left to Cobar and began our trip in earnest. Both of us never been further west than Cobar towards BHill, couldn’t believe the change in the country, I know it’s dry but started to look like what I’m expecting in Central Australia. Not just roos on the road we began to see a lot of emus and goats- neither of whom end up as roadkill, seem to be somewhat smarter than the roos.
Arrived in Broken Hill just after sunset and provided the recently returned miners with some free evening entertainment as we setup for the night. One of them took pity on Matty and helped direct him into our narrow site as his offsider useless
