Hello everyone, hope your all well. I'm having a great time in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) I think it would be easy to stay here for a while. Theres so much to see, I think it would be impossible to get around it all. I'll be leaving for Cambodia tomorrow.

I spent the morning yesterday at the Cu Chi tunnels, which was really interesting and we had the best guide, Mr Binh (apparently he is in the lonely planet but none of us can find it in our copies!). He really was crazy I think, but he was around during the war so it was good to get a first hand account. The tunnels were very good although I found that I am actually very claustrophobic and didnt really like being in such a small place. I was the only one in the group who had to go back. I felt like a right div! In the evening we found a place selling a litre of home brew for 25p, it was great, not the nicest of places obviously but the beer did the trick.

Have been out and about today seeing the sights of the city. Its really big but doesnt seem to be as hectic as Hanoi, I really like it.

Right best go, tonight Im heading to a local disco with a few people and the staff from our guest house. I think its going to be interesting. Will let you know. Hopefully it wont be too messy as I have to be on the bus for 8am.
