Started off the day with another muffin breakfast from the best supermarket in the world. Luckily it opens early enough to fit in with our confused uk/canada timings. The flowers are magical. Isaac enjoyed posing for other people's photos and stalking the 'dig dig dig' gardeners. We retraced quite a lot of yesterday's footprints as we were checking out of the hotel. Found a gu zhong (Chinese harp) playing on the harbour wall. Added in the acquarium which is amazing, especially the beluga whales and the jellyfish. Think we will be spending quite a lot of time here as we purchased a member's card for only 20 dollars more.
The next hotel, situated near china town and Gastown, isn't as great an area. It's much more 'hip' and 'edgey' but I was quite satisfied with the flowers and Korean restaurants! A kind gentleman carried our bags between the 2 hotels-just when I really needed it! The people here are exceptionally lovely.
