Cape Town to Simon's Town. Day 6. We intended to stay at Hout Bay, after looking at various accommodation options, we decided to stop for lunch at the Chapman's Peak Restuarant, famed for its calamari which was very good. Cape Town. Day 1. After an eleven hour overnight flight and not much sleep, we arrived at 5.30am at our hotel in the city centre. We all went to bed and had three hours sleep before cleaning up and going to the Victoria and Alfred waterfront for lunch. Felt much better after, and had a wander around the boats and docks. We went to visit Elke in Idstein near Frankfurt. It is a very pretty town with lovely walks in the wood. The weather was really hot. TC Steinbach was about 30 mins drive away. This was where the Heron Tennis group were visiting so we went over there a few times to say hello and for Max to have some lessons.

in miltenberg we played on clay and i played with a boy called Max aged 16. Then we had Pizza. from Max.

We have been staying with our uncle in Marburg. Max has played tennis with a local boy, Eric, who is 9 on astro turf courts with sand on them - he is learning to slide. We also went to TC Marburg and Max hit with one of the seniors on bright red clay. We spent a day at the Opel Zoo near Frankfurt - our first look at elephants.
