So just to say I went for a walk around the area where the hotel is this morning. I asked the receptionist for direction to the main sqaure & then went the opposite direction & got totally lost....damn that guide book would have been good. Took me an hour to get back to the hotel, so now I{m going set off again, only this time in the direction that she told me to go...I may be some time. We have a trip around Lima this afternoon, so I hope I'm back in time.

HA! Bet you didnt expect anyword for days! Well I'm not such a let down afterall huh?!?!?! Couldn´t really not, since the internet caff is right outside the hotel! Only prob is the guy in the caff speaks no English...worse even than my Spanish, and the keyboards are all double dutch...so I'm spending most of the time trying to write...must look like a right plonker - nobody say a word.
Anyhow, this trip better be the business, cos that flight to get here really sucked. We were on the plan from Amsterdam to here for 15 hours. I'm so glad I forked out the extra on the tickets, cos I think I'd be in the cells for air rage right now otherwise!

Good to hear from you. What's all this about hangover i did not give you permission to go BOOZING my hard earned money away and yes i have been working hard as usual well one of us has to do it !! Never mind it will be my turn next hopefully oh didn't i tell you my trip is a month in Barbados.

Hello there from the official "Camel Jockeys" !!!!!!
Sorry it's been days again, we've had a lot to contend with....as MB would say " couldn't be arsed!" Only joking, we actually walked about 4 miles last night, courtesly escorted by our new found "friend" Mohammed, desparately looking for a net cafe. Finally found one in downtown Cairo (cool hey), sat in the chair & bang!
Seems I only have to go new a PC to break it. Can you believe they had a massive blackout....caused by too many folk using the air conditioning!
So anyhow we made it now & everything's been top drawer. Flight was a doddle & we've never stopped since we landed.....unless you count the 6 hours I slept after we checked in at Cairo, sleeping off my hangover from the late night before, when dad asked me "do you know what time it is??" when I got in!!

We've done the Pyramids twice, once at nite as you do & today was at the Museum which is simply amazing.

Good news too is that Pops has been trying some "foreign food." Bad news is he's pulling his face at all of it! Sadly no photogrpahic evidence to prove it actually happened tho :(

Cairo is full of lunatic drivers, it's a miracle we're getting out of here in one piece (oh no, just tempted fate!). Inshallah we'll make it.

Good to hear MB has his bunker decorated already. No pictures or lightshades I bet tho! To settle the nerves I put a deposit down on a new build bunker in Naama bay. It's down at 30 metres so should be pretty safe!

Also good to see a new recruit. Welcome Julie to the home of the men of leisure. Which reminds me Jus, I hope you're working hard to bring in the money to keep me in the lifestyle I'm becoming used to!!!

We I think we managed to get a few piccies up on here for you. I'm kinda still working this thing out tho, & the PCs over here don't have half the software installed. So fingers crossed they make it.
