Well, will have to keep this one short 'cos the boats setting sail shortly. Yesterday was a great start to the trip. Up real early (6am!) & off to the Valley of the Kings (& then Queens). Saw too many sites to list, but same were Tut's tomb (as you do!), Ramese IV, Neferiti, Collosus of Memnon & a wonderful temple for Queen Hesphetut. All amazing and awe inspiring. The Egyption folk are crazy friendly....just don't make eye contact with a trader. "No thank you" has become our favourite phrase already! Today we're been to Temple of Karnak & then Temple of Luxor. Both stunning, but Karnak more so simply due to the size...it cover 62 acres apparantly. It's more like a town! Ok, gotta split or it's gonna be a long swim to catch up! :)
