We left Ko Lanta at 7am with a takeaway breakfast, we had to change buses before we got on to the car ferry to take us back to mainland Thailand. We had already brought our tickets for the journey as it seems the only way was to buy them from travel agencies so we picked them up in town cheaper than at the pier. We arrived by boat from Railey beach at Ko Phi Phi, which is famous as it was where the film the beach was shot. The island was also badly damaged by the Tsunami that hit the region on boxing day 2004. As well as the damage to the island a lot of lives were also lost here. We arrived in Krabi after another 12 hour bus ride from Bangkok, but luckily thanks to a lot of space on the bus and our last sleeping tablets we both slept nearly 3/4 of the way.
