"Organising & preparing for another leg of our English stay"...!!..that's what we've been doing since we got back from Wales & it's also been a great opportunity to spend some quality time with mum,sister Donna & her partner David....Song's quite excited too, as this is a part of England she has been looking forward to see.."History,Culture & English Countryside,rolled into one"....

While the exchange rate has been to our advantage we took the opportunity to open an English bank account & transferred some Aust.$'s over..compared to our last trip to the UK we have certainly found the English Pound much friendlier this time around...

It's been enjoyable planning the next trip as we have also decided to join the YHA in the UK....they are not only slightly cheaper than hotels & b&b's but we are looking forward to staying in some of the most interesting,historical & unique properties in the UK......Unfortunately,the bookings & reservations into some hostels has been a bit of a drama but I guess these are the goods & bads of travelling.."All is ok now"..!!...We also decided on the idea of car hire & after a few searches on the web we found a great deal for the two weeks that we are away.

Unfortunately,the weather has not been in our favour for the last few days but we're hopeful & staying positive of not letting it cause any obstacles during this trip.....We've had some incredible gale force winds (ave.90kms) overnight here in St. Annes on Sea in Lancashire & causing a great deal of damage to a few properties & buildings within the vicinity..We've been lucky though.! The temperature has certainly dropped though & it would not surprise us to encounter a drop or two of the cold white fluffy stuff on this trip....Looking forward to it..!!..

We pick up the hire car for an early start tomorrow morning & drive to Stratford Upon Avon, with a stop at Warwick Castle & the surrounding sights...."And I look forward to writing the next entry into this blog & sharing it with all our family & friends".....!!
