We had a very relaxing time in Alice, we spent a couple of days just bumming around the caravan park and fixing a few small things on the car, repairing the damaged item's on the camper and restocking food. I had airbags fitted to the back of the Pajero to help with how it sits when towing. The Macdonnel ranges caravan park was probably one of the best parks i have been to (although the pool could have been a lot warmer according to the kids) we had stargazing 1 night a flora and fauna presentation and a singer on the other nights. We said our sad farewell's the Holt family here and have hooked up with Nan and Pop for the next 3 weeks.

We spent a night at Whycliffe well which apparently has the most UFO sightings in Aus. We didnt see and UFO's but we did go to bed early so maybe we missed them??. The park did have a mini zoo which had emu's, emu babies and chooks. today we headed past the Devils marbels through Tennant creek and started our journy east stopping at Barkley homestead for the night. After setting up camp we headed for the bar for a couple of hours for some coldies. Tomorrow we head for Mt Isa.
