Right.... we made it!!!

Well there was tears at the airport, phone calls saying "im not gonna come!", laryingitus and that was just from Kate!!

Yep all true and me with a bad back, good start eh! Well we got our flight and to be honest it werent too bad, well i know Kate was alrite she slept for basically all of it! We got to Melbourne at about 7am and straight to our first stop Hotel Bak Pak, seemed all good had a couple of hours before we could check in so went to vic market and got some breakfast! then we checked in got in a very dodgy lift and went to our room. What a room we had.... it had all you could want... if you was in prison! haha! it had a bunk bed, a chair and a sink with only boiling hot water!! Obviously i bagged the top bunk, haha! We decided to chill out for a bit next thing it was 8 at night, jet lag kicked in! we got up though had a bite to eat and a look round!

Next day went to the hospital (not for me like it usually is!), but because kate still felt really rough, doctor told her shes faking it but told her to take some asprin and stuff and luckly shes feeling alot more herself now which is good!

Next few days we have been extremely lazy, just trying to stay awake and adjust to the time difference! Wev done lots of cultural stuff, yes i know not usually like me and you wouldnt believe i havent been drunk once yet!! I think the wkend before we left took it out of me! We've been to the aquarium, museum and the zoo!! Its been a good laugh and the weather has got alot better (slightly burnt!) we even found the beach yesterday! Only shame is the nightlife isnt all that! Anyway, we've checked into a new hotel for 2 nights which is alot nicer and doesnt just have a bunk bed. We've sorted out our aus experience coach and are off on a 3 day journey to sydney tomo, includes lots of activities and stuff, so looking forward to getting alot more involved now!! I think the experience starts now!

So ill leave it there! Off out tonite for a bit got an early start tomo, guess ill be online next when we're in Sydney so about 4 days!
