I woke up with a heat rash all over my neck this morning because it was so hot during the night. I didn't sleep in my sleeping bag at all. After breakfast this morning, we headed off on our trip south to the French Riviera - our longest bus trip for the tour. We drove for 2.5 hours before our first stop. This place is where nougat as made, so I was a bit annoyed that I had bought nougat at a service station the other day. About 5 hours after us 3 going to bed last night, Rebecca, our last roommate came crashing into the room with the help of some other girls trying to get her into bed. She got up on the bunk eventually and finally went to sleep fully clothed. We've been staying out in the country for the last 2 days so haven't had any wifi to update the blog until now, but here goes. We rose early again today to head south to the Beaujolais Region of France. I think we drove about 5 hours today in total with a couple of stops. Our first stop was at one of Napoleon's castles which he lived in after the French Revolution. An amazing huge historical building. We couldn't go inside but we took some photos from outside...
