We walked down to the ferry wharf after breakfast this morning to catch the ferry over to Venice. My feet were feeling heaps better this morning and the rash was almost completely gone. We woke up this morning when our alarms went off to pitch black. We're in dark wood cabins with wooden shutters on the outside of the windows, so the room was still pitch black even though it was light outside. This had caused a lot of confusion for me in the night when I got up to go to the toilet. I couldn't figure out where I was and was busting so got a bit freaked out in the pitch black. So after the night out last night, I had 3 hours sleep and then woke up this morning with terribly fat ankles and legs, as well as a hideous red rash all over the bottom of my legs. I don't know if it's a heat rash or related to the swelling. Luckily today was another travel day because it meant I could catch up with some sleep and rest my feet.
