Goreme, also known as Cappadochia, was our next stop. Goreme is known for houses built into the rocks and also the strange shapes of the rocks and mountains in these parts. Followers of star wars wouod recognise it from the first film. It is very beautiful and we were staying at a hotel called "The Flintstones" which was quite appropriate. Ah finally something quite different. Arrived in Istanbul mid afternoon. One of the girls - Mel, has lived in Istanbul before so she left to meet up with her sister and mother for the few days we are in Istanbul.
