This morning I left home with no intention of covering seven miles but somehow I did! Having walked to Horam I decided to find the footpath back to Heathfield via Vines Cross Road - I missed it somehow, hence my longer than expected trek! A very worthwhile walk though and I averaged 17.19 minutes per mile which was in my margin of 20 mins per mile.

Had an enjoyable 2.5 mile walk this morning taking in the countryside and wildlife around my home. I seem to be maintaining an average pace of around 16.02 minutes per mile, which will be my aim to maintain over a four day period. Right now I'm way off that but hey, I have the best part of a year to work on it!
