Andy Relax all I have not been abducted just yet. Contrary to my thoughts upon arriving I thought there may be an internet cafe on every corner which has turned out not to be the truth. I actually have to go for a little walk every time I want to use the net. The weather here is very warm but the air is saturated so sweaty little me is a little uncomfortable at times. But other than the weather all is very good. Beer and spirits are cheap and sold in vending machines on every corner. The food is amazing here and the service is very good. Maybe being a foreigner has something to do with it. The locals wil go to every opportunity to practice their English on you which is a bonus considering my level of Japanese. Wal Yes Hello. I have finally found an internet cafe so I will update you on whtas been going on. The weather here is fine and the flight was no problem?I am living with a guy from Brisbane who is OK and a with a guy from Brisbane who is OK and a Canadian who is really good. So far I have just been checking is really good. So far I have just been checking out the city but have not ventured too far from home. I have registered myself as a foreigner living here today and had some money changed so I can survive the weekend. I tell you it was abit scary to set foot outside of my place but now I am beginning to familiarise myself with the surroundings. Every house is a shop or selling something, and despite what people say I have seen some real bargains. My room is?a bit of a hole, the only one with no window or air conditioner so this summer coming up could be a bit of a challenge. But no doubt I will survive and I start a challenge.
