KL was a weird place, it was very busy and we managed to find accomodation above a curry house, that was open 24 hours a day! it was full of people trying to sell massages and watches, like we were back in China but we managed to get round all this hassle with ease.

the first thing we decided to do was to go and shop for cheap electronics and stuff like that so we made our way to Bukit Bintangs shopping mall. it made meadow hall look small! it was about twice the size and had 4-5 floors! it was full of clothing, electronics, food courts etc.

after getting lost we headed out to find it was dark, but you cant tell because theres no natural light, so its abit like the casino trick they play in Vegas! we got out and found some food which was situated bang next to a hashish selling shop! which was abit weird but, hey! its Asia!

the next day we wanted to go up the petronas towers which im sure you've seen in the film entrapment where he swings across the bridge! the views were amazing and it wasn't full of smog like shanghai so that was a bonus,the elevator is one of the quickest in the world and can go about 10 meters a second (which is about 2 floors a second).

that night we went for a meal in china town and found hundreds of rat jumping all over this closed kitchen. it was abit discusting but the rats seemed to be having fun! we ate around the corner and blanked out what we had just seen, it didn't seem to matter though because we didn't get ill so thats a bonus!

we had to leave KL in the morning to go to Kota Kinabolu in Borneo, so we ended up getting up at roughly 6am and getting the monorail out to the airport.
