After four days at sea our party of four have settled into a comfortable routine; sleep until we are ready to face the day, Zumba for the girls, cricket for the boys and long lazy afternoons by the pool thanks to the weather.

Tomorrow we arrive in Jordan and will spend a full day traveling to and from The Lost City of Petra, a highly anticipated visit for many on board Arcadia. We have been warned to anticipate a significantly lower daily temperature than we have become accustomed to; 13 degrees!

Due to the ongoing risk of piracy during our transit of the Red Sea Arcadia is steaming along at a steady 23 knots and our cabin is a cacophony of creaks likely to keep me awake, but I'll have plenty of time to catch up tomorrow as the bus trip takes two hours.
