Three flights and close to two days after leaving home we arrived in Santiago in the early hours of Tuesday morning local time.

All very smooth through the airport and met by the driver we'd booked to transport us to our accommodation.

Recommend the Plaza Suites for the location alone, right in the middle of the city and walking distance to Cerro Santa Lucia with panoramic views of the city and Andes on the horizon.

Perfect walking weather and the metro easy to navigate it's been a short stay but glad we made the time to see some sights before we head to the port where we embark our Queen Mary Cruise.
