It is Saturday 23rd September and time is running out to understand this blog site. I am trying to navigate my way around it while in the luxury of the home environment. I feel things could change dramatically by this time next week and you might not get to read anything. So at least for blog entry number one you get to see the map of the Via Podiensis route or route GR65. (Grand Randoneees 65) where we start from Le Puy (great for lentil loving folk) and then meander off in a southwesterly direction from the volcanic mountains of Velay, across the Aubrac Plateau, through the Lot river valley and then the brandy vineyards of Armagnac to finally end in the Basque region of the Pyrenees.
Hopefully I will get to present sights, sounds, feelings and overall a taste of what this camino will be like so that you too can be fellow accompanists.
