- Ok a bit premature on the Glasto location but hey at least you know I'm safely back in the UK and on my way very early tomorrow to what is going to be, yet again this year, the world's biggest musical mudfest. But what a way to end my "little" holiday - I've always said that rain or shine, during those few days in June, Glastonbury Festival has to be one of the best places in the world - and I guess I'm in more of a position to say that now
At the moment I'm in the process of packing my backpack yet again and getting over the panic of wellie sell-out fever, which has well and truly hit the shops of London for some reason (luckily I finally managed to get a delightful psychedelic pair in my size but believe me it was like a warzone in Millets).
I actually got back yesterday and I'm still trying to get my body clock back to normal which is proving difficult. I've truly had another trip of a lifetime again. South America was a stunning place and although disappointed by Chile and parts of Peru, the rest was amazing starting with Carnival in Rio with Jon, and then ending with my favourite place - the beautiful country of Ecuador and of course The Galapagos, but how can I forget amazing Argentina (where I had the best time again with Jon) and of course Bolivia which surprised and astounded me and was certainly one of my South American highlights. Oh and of course add to that my fun week in the States with Mr Lanceman which was a great "almost" ending.
Anyway I'll put up some photos on here of my Glasto experience this time next week and maybe let you know one last time what I got up to.
And everyone out there, please could you pray for me that the Weathermen are wrong... as sunshine and firm ground would be nice.
