Well here I am at the end of my SE Asia trip. Tonight I fly to the land of Kangeroos and crocs. I left Gili yesterday and arrived back in Bali last night. I'm staying in Kuta which I don't think much of but it's near to the airport and the hotel is really nice. Kuta is Bali's main tourist spot and where the recent bombs were. It's a nightmare walking down any street due to the high volume of hawkers ... "no I don't want my hair braided or a flower painted on my nails" is all I seem to say. However it does have some nice restaurants and fast internet access (which is a joy to behold at last). I have loved SE Asia, and in particular Indonesia. Java was so special and Bali is struggling to survive at the moment but a beautiful place if you find the right place. Lombok was stunning and I want to spend more time here to find out more about the island. Thailand and Malaysia was big party time for me. I've met some wonderful people and hopefully some friends for the future. I'm sad to leave but so looking forward to Oz and meeting up with some old friends again. So I'll say bye from Asia - tomorrow it will be hello from Australia
