Done a quick spin down the West coast of the South Island - Walked on the Queen Charlotte track near to Picton, stayed in fantastic backpackers hostel (all eco friendly) in Westport, beaches and seas and mountains are amazing down the west coast, stopped at pancake rocks - bizarre cliff formations, down to Fox Glacier (see photo on postcard!) where went Glacier walking, more spectacular scenery then down to Wanaka for a spot of white water sledging - like white water rafting but without the boat! - then accross to the Moreki Boulders for Christmas day at the beach - Moraki boulders - another bizarre geographical formation, perfectly sperical rocks just sat sitting on the beach!. Currently in Christchurch - terribly English - big trees, parks, punting on the river.... Happy Christmas & Merry New Year!
