April 21 - Brook - Today was a half day of conference for the Rotarians. We were invited to participate or were allowed to have a day off. We all decided to independently do our own thing. April 20 - Brook - Today was a travel day up to the Rotary 5010 district conference at the Bay of Island. This took a majority of our day. Later in the evening we attended the Maori welcome at the hotel which was quite interesting, I have put some of the photo's in the album. April 19 - Brook - Today was our last day of individual vocational experience. It sounds like all of our indivual experiences were outstanding today. I went with a area manager for ProCare a Public Health Organization (PHO) to a Maori based primary health clinic at a Marae called Nga Hau e Wha. This turned out to be a great experience for me. April 18 - Brook - This morning was our last presentation for the Half Moon Bay Rotary club, and it was probably one of our best! After the meeting was over we changed into our hiking clothes and boarded a private boat for a lovely ride to Rangitoto Island. The cruise over to the island was calm and peaceful, hardly a wave in the water, and perfectly blue sky. April 17 - Brook - Today was an early morning Rotary presentation at the Manukau City Sunrise Club. After a lovely breakfast and conversation with the members of the club after our presentation we headed out for our Vocational morning at the Auckland Women's Correctional facility.
