We spent a day traveling through a portion of the Park...the Valley is quite crowded for "shoulder season" because of the government closure...but we had a peaceful 3.5 mile walk with Aray on one of the few pet friendly trails, and then negotiated the mountainous windy roads with the trailer...and stopped when there was space to stop and take photos. Found a lovely, almost empty RV park outstide the park on west side which we have enjoyed.

Fom Phoenix to San Clemente, to Rancho Cucamonga, to Foothill Ranch, to Riverside and Pismo Beach, (and Jacksonville, Fla. where Clyde went by air) we saw 4 children, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers, and their families. It has been a wonderful time.

I had a lovely birthday with a swim at Kathi's fitness center, a walk on the beach, wine tasting, lunch and a brew, great dinner, and strawberries with angel food cake! Wonderful!

Walks with all 3 dogs, and all of us are "fun". Lovely parks and walking trails around Joe and MaryBeth's house.

Clyde went to see his brother, Jim and Jenny in Jacksonville, Fla., and I stayed with Cam and Jenny, John and Riley in California, and am taking care of Aray. John's game was fun to watch, though his Webb high school team lost.
