There was no rush in the morning so the five of us set off at around 11:15 for the hill (Cerro Ancon). It wasn't a tough walk at all, in fact it turned out there was a paved road all the way up to the top, so we could have taken a cab - but that's the boring way. The journey from Managua to Panama City was a nightmare. I had spent around $90 for the ticket which wasn't bad given the distance involved and that we were crossing two borders.
