3 weeks of our ten week, 2014 Summer Experience left. Time to assess just why we love to spend our summers here in the South of France! Rivers! France is full of them. And sometimes they get crazy. Our little village, Laurens, has 3 tiny (most of the time) streams that run through it: The Naubine, The Libron, & The Sauvanes. They actually meet in the middle of town, each coming from a different direction. I love these canals--they are one of my favorite places to walk as they are most always dry & shaded, & very quiet. We have been cruising along, living the dream! Until the last 2 weeks. We have now experienced both a speeding ticket & an emergency room visit. Both experiences turned out fine, & probably, in the long run, were a way of slowing us down (literally!). Les loves the French roads!
