This Roman chariot points out parts of the Via Domitia, the oldest Roman road built in Gaul (present day France). It was named after the Consul of the Roman province of Galla Narbonensis (the capitol was our favorite city Narbonne), Domitius Ahenobarbus. It was built in 118-117 BC.
