I'm so glad I did paint the tile. BUT! Just as I was finishing up, I decided to touch up a bit at the top of the shower, but outside it. I had been SO CAREFUL inside the shower, but it seemed so easy to just prop the ladder up & climb up it to do this one tiny spot. NOT a good idea. The ladder slipped out from under me, & crashed to the floor. But the ring on my right ring finger caught on one of the rungs, & cut through half my finger. Yikes! I knew I needed some emergency help. First I went to our pharmacie. Each of the 2 pharmaciens there took a look at it, & said: "Ce n'est pas du tout joli!" (This is not at all pretty!) Then, they told me that my ring would need to be cut off (I knew that!), & they gave me the address of the Beziers Hospital's emergency room. So off Les & I went.....
