They check you in just like they do in the states. You give them your ID (passport), your insurance card, & your Medicare card. They copy it. Then you WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! We waited about 30 minutes for the first look at my "plaie". The woman said: "Ce n'est pas du tout joli!" Then she sent me back to the waiting room for a really long wait. It took another 2 hours (there were 2 large accidents that afternoon) to get into the room pictured here.
