Wednesday in Hong Kong bought us our first tour of this leg of the trip. Pink dolphin watching, We got a boat out in to one of the bays to spot the pink dolphins, their pink because of the pollution and there is only 100 to 200 left but if Hong Kong reduced their pollution surely that would make them normal grey dolphins and therefore slightly less exciting to see? We saw about 6 dolphins in total and we did see one or two jumping which apparently is quite rare. It was nice to see them but the boat was really hot and uncomfortable so we were glad to get off at the end of the tour!

Thursday was Hong Kong Disneyland. I was very excited about this day, so excited I couldn't sleep properly on Wednesday night!!! A kid at Christmas comes to mind!!! Again a great day, But the heat got to us, we had to join the thousands and buy umbrellas!!!!! I was desperate to see the fireworks at the end of the day (9pm) so we hung around. At around 8pm the government issued a level 3 typhoon warning which to be fair was a little worrying, however we stayed and the fireworks went ahead even though all the outdoor rides were closed. It was worth staying! They were pretty cool.

Friday, Hong Kong was still under a level 3 typhoon warning so umbrellas ready we did what everyone else was doing, wandered the many many shops! Our tour on the boat to see the symphony of lights show was cancelled because of the typhoon so we went for a drink in a bar just down from our hotel. We wanted cocktails but the bar had run out of juice......on a Friday night!!!!!! So we settled for a long island! 5 spirits!!!!!! In a pint glass!!!!! Let's just say 1 was enough!!!!

Saturday. Last day of Hong Kong and last day of our mammoth trip! Sad times! As our flight is at 8am tomorrow (Sunday) morning we need to leave the hotel at 5 am so we spent the morning packing our suitcases after this we went for a last minute wander around the shops and had lunch. Tonight we have been on our symphony of lights boat tour. The light show was pretty cool although I wish it had been a bit longer, but we met some nice people on board the boat and took full advantage of the free bar as you all can probably imagine!

Next time I speak to you and see you all I will be back in (hopefully warm and sunny!) England!!!!! See to all soon. Xxxxxx
