Rock 'n' Ropes! Today we drove to Lake Taupo, which is absolutely beautiful. The water is as blue as the sea in Fiji, and the waterfall is breathtaking. We split up a bit in the morning, as Lisa and I did something different to Daniela, who went on a jet boat around the lake. "It's not wrong, it's just different!" We left Waitomo at 7.30am this morning, and headed for Rotorua. On the coach we each had to introduce ourselves on the microphone, say an embarrassing story and give a green, amber or red light - not that fun at 8am! The start of our tour… Today we started our Contiki tour, and were met on the bus by our tour manager Nathan, or 'Pumba' as he likes to be known !! After a two and a half hour bus journey, during which Nathan spoke the whole time, we arrived at our first stop, Waitomo, which is famous for its caves. As we were driving it looked like we were driving through the English countryside, which was very strange. Our accommodation is really nice - pretty much luxur...

Today we didn't wake up until lunchtime- I think it had all caught up with us. Once we were awake we went to the Sky Tower, and watched crazy people bungee jump off it! Then we went into a few shops on Queen Street. In the evening we went to the free sausage sizzle in the hostel, and then caught up on washing and the internet, so quite a boring day!

Flying out of Fiji! We went to the airport at 6.30am to try and get a standby flight to New Zealand. We weren't very optimistic, but 20 minutes before the flight was due to leave we were told we had seats on the plane! We literally had to run through the airport, and were the last ones on, but we were so relieved. We arrived in Auckland safely, despite a very turbulent flight, and found the airport to be really clean and organized - such a difference to Fiji! We...
