Koh Phi Phi, Thailand 18th - 22nd March 2012
We left Koh Samui at 6am finally arriving in Krabi around 2:00pm, it was a very bumpy and tiring journey. Whislt at Krabi we sat in a little restaurant for an hour waiting for our next leg of the journey to begin. We were catchin the 3pm ferry across to Koh Phi Phi. We met a girl from Denmark who stayed with us on the island. When we arrived we were met by lots of locals trying to get us to stay at certain places. The first two nights we eneded up staying a US guesthouse at the other end of the island (only a 15 minute walk though) but it was horrible and felt unsafe, so the following day we went venturing for somewhere else to stay. In the afternoon of the first day we went diving, it was amazing I loved it. Carly decided after two fun dives that she wanted to take her advanced course and the girl from Demark decided to take her open water starting on the Tuesday. On the Monday we moved into our new accomendation which was a nice bungalow on the beach front called Dee Dee's, it was lovely. Through them we arranged a day trip around the other islands close to Phi Phi island. It was a lovely day on a boat, jumping off on different beaches and different snorkeling sites it was lovely until about 4pm, when I started to feel like I was going to be sick. I laided on the boat hoping the sun would set early but it didn't. Reaching land at 7pm I thought I was feeling sick because I had not drunk enough water or eaten a lot that day, so we decided to go to an itallian restaurant on the beach front. Unfortunatly I was unable to eat, and rushed back to the bungalow to throw up everywhere. I felt better so I met up with the other two and headed to the dive shop to book our diving for the next day. Carly, on her advanced course and I wanted to dive the King curiser wreck near Phuket so we booked on the trip, but when the next day came after a sleepless night of being sick ever hour I was unable to move so I missed the day diving, although I went on a night dive that evening as I felt a bit better. The night dive was really good fun even though I got attacked by a turtle. That night was another restless night, but I continued diving during the day, which may have been a bad idea. Finally, we said our goodbyes to the Danish girl and headed to Phuket as she headed to Chiang Mai.
