9th January - 13th January

We hoped on the ferry for 35mins stepped off on the island and instantly it felt like we had flown miles over the sea and in some new exotic land. We arrived at our accommodation which was lovely but on the beach wear and head straight to the pool to sunbathe!! Lush! At last some real heat. We decided that evening to talk a walk down to the beach and get fish and chips.

Next morning was time to check out the one and only town/village/ road - sort of thing! We got some lunch. We decided we were going to head back in that evening for dinner and some drinks. It was nice but very quiet - we ended up on the beach with two old guys but at least they gave us free wine. After we got dropped home and slept.

Next morning equaled hungover. We went down to the beach for the morning and then went back up around the pool for the afternoon. The evening was a quiet one as we were going on a wine tour the next day.

Wine tour day finally came. We started in the morning stopped for lunch and the hit another three vineyards. It was really good but we had drank a lot. We went home got changed to go out but only lasted until 10pm. (lightweight).

Friday Morning arrived again too soon and it was time to head back to Auckland.
