Sihanoukville, Cambodia 10th - 11h April 2012

We arrive and get a tuk tuk to a place recommended by other travellers called hooha - owned by 3 English lads. It was ok not the greatest but cheap and close to the beach and restaurants. The good thing was we were allowed to check in straight away - so we had a few hours nap got some breakfast and headed to the beach at 12 to get some tannage. It was amazing all I had done was taken my flip-flops off and then I got pushed onto my sunbed one women was putting my had in a pot of water saying "I give you manicure for good price", another women doing the same to my feet "I give you good price for a pedicure" and a girl plucking hairs from my legs - it was insane and very overwhelming. Finally after a manicure they left, but it was crazy. I the let the kids play some games on my iPhone until the battery ran out then they left us alone. That evening we had a BBQ on the beach for 3 dollars which was nice, but because I didn't want to get ill again I headed back to try and get a goodnights rest again.

The following morning we were greeted by a thunderstorm so we sat around the guesthouse doing pretty much nothing all day except reading. That evening we walked around the town and found a dive shop, we decided that we were going to go to an island called Koh Rong for Khumer New Year 13th,14th, 15th April and also get some diving in. So we booked to leave the following morning at 7am.
