Charlie took me to the Ft Lauderdal Intl Airport. I could tell he was apprehensive both for my travel safety and for his 2 weeks with work and children alone. He gave me a hug and kiss, and I was on my way, that quick. Security was fairly quick and uneventful. Waited at the gate for my flight to Atlanta. It was on Delta, and it was ok. The flight left at 11:23, and was short. I was so glad to be seated by the window by an elderly couple who appeared to have money. I was so excited they were thin and didnùt smell:) Upon my arrival in Atlanta I had to take the tram to gate E. The flight on Delta from Atlanta to Paris, Charles de Gaule was smooth and quiet. However, the Francaise I had to sit next to was a grouch and she had a cold. All I could think about was not wanting to get sick by her to ruin my vacation. Couldnt really sleep much due to the uncomfortabla seats, and I has and aisle seat. The meal service was good.
