Having a nice relaxing time in Christchurch, staying at a really nice hostel called the coachman, its cool got sky tv so we will be able to watch the game tomorrow morning before we go to the Airport. We had a really nice meal out last night at a posh restaurant (it was called sticky fingers), toby treating me like a lady (not a scanky traveller!) the food was lush, toby had a lovely lamb shank had to have some more lamb before we left NZ. Today we have had a wonder round the city centre we went to the Arts Centre to the weekend market which was really good, there is so much nice artwork got very tempted by the Wooden calvings, but gave in to a contemporary print instead. Enjoyed humour of some talented street performers. We had a lovely trip round the town on the tram, it even goes inside the shopping mall. then were off to enjoy the sunset on the gondola tonight. Hopefully get a chance to speak to some more people when get to Australia, it was really nice to chat to some of you last night.

To Ian and Laura congratulations, hope the wedding went well and enjoy the honeymoon!

hey heather and jess, that is so freaky we have just come into a internet cafe to come and email you, we are both really looking forward to getting to Oz now and seeing you both. We were going to try and ring you later. actually doing some washing today ran out of pants!!! just relaxing in christchurch said goodbye to all our NZ friends (louise was the last to go today!) we saw her to the bus stop so we know exactly where to get the bus to airport on Monday. Don't worry about Fremantle being boring, we are looking forward to a slightly slower pace of life weve done so much this month its been crazy. We've been pre warned about the customs so finishing up the last of our rations, haven't brought any wooden carvings so we should be ok. Right, you two! you are seriously starting to P**s me off now. You have been gone for just over a month and just look at all the things you've done already. It looks sensational by the way. This Kiwi Experience looks immense, nice little trip round middle earth then your skydiving and rafting (well done to the both of you, very big kahunas!). Not much going on back in Derby everyone is cool, Stevie has left to go home for a couple of weeks then off to Taiwan for 6 weeks to stay with his dad, I'm still waiting on the house in birmingham but been looking for jobs (may be getting one working for the custard factory, how cool is that?). In kaikoura today we were meant to be going whale watching but its been cancelled as the sea is too rough, nevermind might go in the morning, then make our way basck to chritchurch for 3 days then fly to Oz, cant wait, its freezing here.

Went to milford sounds yesterday the best day trip possible, was a 5 hr drive from, queenstown then a 2hr ferry ride the scenery is breathtaking. we saw seals, dolphins, then went to an underwater observatory.Left Queenstown today, had an 8 hr drive to Christchurch, both very hangover had to say alot of goodbyes to friends last night as alot of were staying in queenstown, it was a wicked place so much to do and see but very expensive. just want to say goodbye and take care to the anders we wish you all the best in the future, it was great to meet you and spend time with you. make sure you keep in touch. just been out for a chinese with a few friends who came to christchurch with us, having an early night as weve got to get up at 7am to watch england. sorry sue did get your e mail, thankyou for typing it. xx hello len hope youre ok mate, ill try and ring you next week when were in oz, got so many wicked stories done so much stuff ididnt think i could. just wait to see all the photos(if anyone is having trouble looking at the photos watch them on a slideshow or individually or push refresh and they appear) Take care everyone xxxxxxxxxx
