Hiya!!! Firstly i'd just like to say how relieved i am that i found somewhere to do my pix, yes they are up and ready to see. There are more but i selected the main few so you wouldnt get bored (although there are plenty of borin landscape shots) Well i'm in San Fran now, i really like it here too. It's better than LA in my opinion, sunnier, easier to get around, more to do... I have walked up and down lots and lots of hills so given my legs a good workout, took a historic tram ride downtown today. The guy (cant remember his name) invented trams all those years ago because he once saw a carriage falling back down a hill pulling down the horses with it- POOR HORSES!!!! I also walked (half way and back) over the Golden Gate Bridge- very high! and yesterday i got banged up in Alcatraz. They said drug smuggling was against the law-i never knew!!!! Actually it was quite creepy, went in Al Capone's (rumored) cell and saw the bullet holes where the prisoners tried to escape. It makes me want to see the movie now and swot up properly. They give you an audio tour that was very informative and you can also do a night tour but i think i'll leave that for next time-too scary. Other than that i've just been hanging around, i saw the crookedest street in the world, went to the museum of modern art, visited street fairs-generally just soaking up the San Francisco lifestyle. I'm going back to LA tomorrow for a couple of days before flying to Equador on Friday. Im not too sure what internet access, or what time i'll have to write, in south america so i'm sorry if you only get snatched updates from me for a while.
