Copenhagen!
Next morning we got up and took metro into city centre. Walked through a big barracks with moat and built up defences then past the little mermaid statue and Gefion fountain. Then we went to the Royal Palace to see the changing of the guard which is quite a rigmarole and involved marching the guards half way through the city and then continuing on a 1 hour long thing... went to Fredericks church or the marble church which is very impressive! Walked to the Kings gardens then along past a small castle which is where the crown jewels of Denmark are kept saw an army exercise well football game going on had lunch then walked along he length of The Stroget which is a street that you are supposed to walk in Copenhagen saw many street performers then got tired so went back tocamp.
Next day we got up and drove to Fredricksberg castle the most impressive castle in Denmark.Built in the 1500’s it had a nice moat and lake. Inside was very beautiful we saw a large collection of furniture from that time and portraits of Kings and their Wives, Daughters ect. We then drove to Helsingor and caught the ferry to Sweden as we left on the boat we looked back at a nice castle which was the setting for Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Drove up the middle of Sweden and found a campsite, I didn’t see much on the way as I was asleep .. again.
