Almost a week has passed since we arrived at Pasaj Cap, just outside San Marcos on Lake Atitlan, and we have really made ourselves at home. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, including crib, hammock, and ice cube trays (for our evening cocktail!) We have already visited some of the neighbouring villages, which involves hailing a passing lancha (boat) from the property's private dock. Some of the villages here are only accessible by boat. We have over three weeks more here, so I'm sure we'll have a chance to see most of them.
Anu is again the main attraction, and the first question we are asked is always how old is your baby. She is significantly taller than many Mayan babies here age! With all the attention she is getting, it's likely that her first world will be Hola!
At 'home', she is keeping herself occupied opening a closing cupboard doors, usually the same one at least 50 times, and pushing chairs around the room. Very entertaining for us!

Michael Galvin It looks incredibly secluded and immensely beautiful. Glad you're all having a good time, Great to hear that Anu is getting her Spanish together (she'll have more words than me by the end of your trip), and hope the thesis is coming along a storm. Evening drinks with a view like that? Somebody book me a flight! Big Love to you all, Michaelx
