Our third day and we hired some bikes to take us into the west bank to see the Valley of the Kings. We selected the bikes early and we were off by 8:30 - Ken had an Egyptian breakfast (falafel and beans) so was jet propelled. We left a drizzly grey Gatwick in the morning and 5 hours later we were coming into land with clear blue skies, the desert one side and the lush Nile valley the other.Then the problems started - we got in the wrong queue at immigration.
