After some unsuccessful bartering with the grand taxis to get us to Safrou for a reasonable (not tourist price) we headed to the train station in Fes for a day trip to Meknes (only 30mins by train). We both woke up thinking that we might be exhausting Fes by staying yet another day but we took a walk outside of the town upto the hills overlooking the town and the countryside...it was beautiful but when we tried to take a walk to explore some random huts but we got turned around.
