We had breakfast at 10am at McDonalds at the train station as breakfast was not included at the hotel and was too expensive. Caught the train from Grindelwald to Interlaken Ost where we caught the connecting train to Bern. Arrived in Bern at 12.30pm and walked across Bahnhofplatz to our hotel, Hotel City am Bahnhof.After checking in we walked back to the train station to get some lunch and then bought a city map and 48 hour Bern Card from the Tourist Information Centre.We returned to the hotel, got our day pack and caught the tram to Helvetiaplatz. Had breakfast at 8.30am then walked to the train station to buy our tickets to Interlaken Ost for our trip to Bern. We checked out of the hotel at 10am and caught the 10.50am train to Bern.

After breakfast at 8am, which included a chocolate rabbit for Easter, we caught the 9.50am train to Jungfraujoch. After a scenic climb up the mountains we arrived in Kleine Scheidegg where we changed trains for the trip through the mountains to Jungfraujoch. After arriving back from the Jungrau we hade a coffee at Central Hotel Wolter then bought a few souvenirs before heading back to the hotel for a rest.Went out for dinner at 6.30pm, eating again at Central Hotel Wolter where we tried the Lämpi Rösti which was fried grated potato with bacon, ham, onion, tomato, cheese and egg. Very nice!Returned to the hotel to pack for our trip to Bern the next morning.
